ART GALLERY
the world that was; the world that is
A schism in collective consciousness is hard to frame, but art is vital for us now, as always.
The absence of something is not nothing; simply something other. Newspapers and talking heads try to explain these times in numbers, policies, predictions and jargon; desperately trying to form presence, and draw the lines of form and structure.
But not all of us are ready for that. In absence, there is a freedom. The blank page holds no tyrannical sway to those that welcome the space. We share with you collected artwork from people in our community and well beyond. There is no scope, no lines.
We invite you to look and reflect. These images can also be useful for prompts in your own writing, or for our very own poetry competition on Lovestream!
